婚姻是人伦之始,研究婚姻问题具有重要的现实意义。由于受社会经济变革的影响,清代苏北运河沿岸地区婚姻程序上由繁趋简,反映出人们对繁琐婚礼仪式的厌倦。晚清时期,受西方文化的影响,文明婚礼开始出现,婚礼习俗呈现出新旧并存、中西杂揉的局面。清代苏北运河沿岸婚俗的变迁表明,我们应该在充分吸收传统婚礼习俗有益一面的基础上,结合新式婚礼的长处,从而形成更加健康、更有利于民族未来的婚姻礼俗。
Abstract：Marriage is the beginning of human relations and study on marriage issues has important practical significance.In Subei Regions which along the Canal in Qing Dynasty,affected by social economy' reforming,the marriage procedure changed from complexity to simplicity,which reflected people's weariness to cockamamie marriage ceremonies.In late Qing Dynasty,influenced by eastern culture,civilized wedding appeared and wedding customs of the new one and the old one coexisted the orient-style and the occidental-style blended.Wedding Customs' Changing in Subei Regions which along the Canal in Qing Dynasty make clear that we should combine the good qualities of the traditional wedding customs and the new wedding then form a wedding custom which will be healthier and better to the nation's future.
