古琴是中华民族最具民族特色的传统乐器,它的产生体现了中国人民自古以来的音乐秩序和音乐理想,象征了中国文人清高、内敛的个人修养,传递了其顺应自然、天人合一的审美取向。古琴作为中国传统四艺之首,以其中正平和、温柔敦厚的音色,使贤人志士用以修身养性。而在中国哲学中,最能代表其内在品格的意象之一便是水。思水亲水作为中华文化中的重要观念,从某种意义上来说,是华夏文明的源头。而古琴音乐中蕴含的水文化,更是把人的生命韵律和大自然的节奏秩序合二为一,凝练成为中国文人审美追求的最高境界。古琴中的水文化源远流长,不仅对人和社会具有教育、导向、审美等多重作用,也承载了中国文人的许多情感和思绪。

Guqin is the traditional musical instrument with the most national characteristics of the Chinese nation. Its creation embodies the musical ideals and order of the Chinese people since ancient times,symbolizing the lofty and restrained personal cultivation of the Chinese literati,which conveys the aesthetic grace of complying the unity of nature and man. Guqin is the first of the four traditional Chinese arts,with the tone of peace and gentleness,so that the sages can cultivate himself. In Chinese philosophy,one of the most representative images of the inner character is "water". Thinking about and getting close to water as an important concept in Chinese culture is,in a sense,the source of Chinese civilization. The"water"culture contained in the music of the Guqin is a combination of the rhythm of human life the nature,and it has become the highest realm of the aesthetic pursuit of Chinese literati. The water culture in the Guqin has a long history. It not only has the multiple functions of education,guidance and aesthetics to people and society,but also bears many feelings and thoughts of Chinese literati.
